INTEGRATED MEDIA PROGRAM MT. HOOD COMMUNITY COLLEGEThe Integrated Media Program combines the disciplines of Graphic Design, Digital Photography, Video and Broadcasting. Businesses increasingly require content creators to collaborate and Integrated Media has developed courses in which students work in teams to create interactive solutions. Working across traditional boundaries, they achieve fluency in multiple design settings and applications. Students learn to conceptualize, plan, build and promote products/projects in various media, incorporating sound, video, photography, lighting, acting, script writing, animation and design. As reported in the September 2007 issue of Portland Monthly Magazine "...according to the Portland Develoment Commission, the city's creative services industry --- some 1,500 firms mostly trafficking in advertising, public relations and design---collectively employ more than 14,000 here. And that's not counting an estimated 19,000 freelancers who work on the fly, tapping into wireless networks at coffee shops across town."Want to be a part of the thriving CREATIVE SERVICES industry?
